To our valued clients:

As of January 4, 2022, we will be returning to curbside only appointments and prescription pick-ups for the foreseeable future. We have enacted this policy to protect the health and safety of our staff and clients with the rising number of COVID cases. 
 
When you arrive for your appointment please go through the following steps:
  1. Call 773-697-8176 and press option 2 to be connected to a staff member. Please be patient if you do not reach someone right away as our phones will be busier than usual.
  2. You will be instructed as to when to bring your pet to our front door. Please ensure that you are wearing a mask for the hand-off of your pet to a staff member.
  3.  Make sure that you have your phone on you as we will be speaking to you over the phone to discuss your visit.
  4. Do not stray too far from the clinic as you will be expected to pick up your pet within 15 minutes of the end of your appointment time.
When you schedule your doctor appointment with us, you will receive an email with a history questionnaire. We kindly request that you fill this out ahead of time to help with the efficiency of your appointment.
 
The YPW staff will miss seeing you all in person, but we will continue to update you on our safety policies as they change and evolve.

We are continually monitoring the infection and vaccination rates in Chicago and keeping up-to-date on state and local guidelines as well as related news.  When warranted, we will revise our protocols and communicate those changes to you.

 

Payment

You may pay for services and products over the phone or in clinic by credit/debit card. For other payment methods, please ask a team member for assistance.


Additional Measures we are Asking Clients to Follow:

  • Please do not come to our clinic if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms or have a fever.
  • Please reschedule your pet’s veterinarian appointment if you have been in contact with anyone that has had a fever or possible COVID-19 exposure.
